Dave Olson is currently in his 5th coaching year at the Wave Volleyball Club. An avid player, student, fan and coach of the game, Olson has immersed himself in over 40 years of volleyball. At the 2010 Junior National Championships in Austin, Texas, Dave led the Wave 14 Boys to a 7th place finish. Dave also coaches the Wave Boy’s Developmental Clinics. Olson is an alumni of San Diego State University where he received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Management. As a veteran beach player who still competes, Dave earned his AA rating on the beach and won a gold medal at the Manhattan 6- man tournament.

Dave’s sons, Matt and Trevor, also coach at the Wave. Dave currently lives in Cardiff with his wife, Susan, and can be found outdoors spending time with his family.
