Heather played 3 years on University of Arizona Women's Club Team and graduated in 2002 with a degree in Elementary Education. She obtained masters in Teaching and Teacher Education in 2004. While in Tucson, Olson coached boys and girls JV volleyball, and taught the 5th grade. Olson moved to Encinitas in 2003 and taught K-2 math and science at the Rhoades School. Heather began coaching with the Wave in 2006 and will be entering her 5th season on the staff. She is currently a lead facilitator at Brain Highways in Encinitas
