Jonathan Scott is entering his 2nd season with Wave. He coaches for both the girls and boys sides of the club and also contributes with video analysis and statistics. Scott moved to San Diego to become the 1st Assistant with the Women's program at Point Loma Nazarene University.

Scott grew up in the LA area and was recruited to play at CSU Northridge. An injury ended his collegiate playing career, and he transferred to Long Beach State where he earned a BA with a double major in political science and religious studies.  Continuing his love for the game, Scott entered the coaching ranks, taking a position at USC with both the men's and women's programs.

During Scott's tenure at USC, he made it to the NCAA final four three times. The men were runners-up in the 2009 NCAA championships, in 2010 the Women of Troy reached the Final Four, and the men reached the Final Four again in 2011. At the club level with SCVC, Scott's teams have reached the Junior Olympic gold bracket twice (5th place in 2008 with boys 16's and 4th place in 2009 with boys 17's). He has also been volunteering with the USA Women's National Volleyball Team since 2009.
