Nicole Courtney earned 3 Varsity volleyball letters at UCSD, graduating with a 3.5 GPA in Biology in 2007. While at UCSD she was named the CCAA Conference MVP and UCSD Player-of-the-Year. In 2006 with Nicole as a starting outside hitter, the Tritons finished 5th in the nation in Division II. After earning a Masters in Education from UCSD, Nicole taught 7th grade science for 4 years in the San Diego Unified School District. She has taken an official leave of absence this year to explore other career opportunities.

Throughout her 7 years of coaching, Nicole has instructed all over the United States for Gold Medal Squared. Nicole loves the beach and snowboarding, and is entering her 7th season on the Wave staff.
