We are so excited to see you for an upcoming WAVE camp session! Please read carefully and see below for important information about our health & safety protocols and check-in instructions. We want everyone to be comfortable with what to expect for when you arrive.
If your plans have changed, please let us know ASAP (email email@example.com), as our camp programs generally have a waiting list. Thank you!
Please remember to bring your own water bottle and snack if you need one.
Dropoff is no more than 15 minutes prior to your session’s scheduled start time to allow for set-up. Pickup is promptly at the end of each session.
Parents, at this time we are not allowing persons other than athletes to wait in line for check-in. Please park in the lot to allow your athlete to walk up, and do not walk up to the check-in line with your athlete. Both North and South indoor and sand facilities are closed for parent viewing at this time to reduce people in the same space. Please do not assemble or watch through the North gym doors. Our restrooms are not available to the public due to cleaning procedures.
*Ripple K-2nd grade parents: as an exception for our youngest campers – ONE parent or guardian may check-in their athlete and sit in the designated distanced chairs in the facility. Mask policy is per the below, and stay in the facility until the end of the session. Please, no other young children/siblings etc. allowed.
– Use hand sanitizer when entering, exiting and during water breaks
– Avoid touching your eyes, nose, or mouth with unwashed hands.
– Stay home if sick.
For all participants, entrants, and coaches, for all activities at WAVE North & South Gyms (Indoor Courts)
The state of California has announced the reinstatement of California’s statewide mask mandate in indoor public spaces (regardless of vaccination status), effective Wednesday, December 15, 2021 – February 15, 2022. Beginning Wednesday December 15, we require all entrants to please wear a CDC-approved facial covering or mask while indoors at the WAVE facilities, regardless of vaccination status. Face coverings are not required at outdoor beach training.
Please note, regardless of vaccination status, WAVE’s no spectator policy remains in effect at this time (exception for Ripple program, as above). Parents and spectators are to remain off of all WAVE training locations to ensure a dedicated, focused, and distraction-free training environment. Thank you for your cooperation as we continue to keep our families’ safety as our top priority while navigating the ongoing changes in guidance related to COVID-19.
Thank you for your cooperation and support. We look forward to an awesome camp for your athlete!
WAVE Volleyball will be following health protocols recommended by the CDC and other relevant regulatory approved sources.
