Annabelle joined the WAVE coaching staff in 2025!

Born in Pennsylvania, Annabelle moved to Apex, North Carolina, where her family still resides. Growing up in a volleyball-focused family filled with players and coaches, she developed a deep love for the game early on. She was proud to play on the very first 11’s team at Triangle Volleyball Club, where she began her competitive volleyball journey.

Annabelle attended UNC Wilmington from 2020 to 2024, earning her undergraduate degree in Communication Studies with a minor in Business Administration while competing on the volleyball team. She then completed her fifth year at Elon University from 2024 to 2025, pursuing a master’s degree in Business Analytics.

In June 2025, Annabelle and her husband made a big life change by moving across the country. Embracing the move, she is eager to continue growing as a coach and to bring her passion for volleyball to a new community.

Now transitioning from player to coach, Annabelle brings her passion for volleyball and dedication to helping young athletes develop their skills and character. Her coaching philosophy focuses on investing in players as whole individuals, supporting their growth not only as athletes but also as people both on and off the court.

Fun fact: before volleyball she used to be a jumprope-er!
