WAVE welcomed Desi during Spring 2022! Desi has coached beach and indoor for 6 years (ages ranging from 12-15s). She has coached at different clubs and high schools, gathering a variety of perspectives.

Coaching philosophy - To empower young athletes to reach their fullest potential. She encourages them to be the best version of themselves on and off the court, by developing their skills, love of the game, and overall character.

Playing history - Growing up, Desi played indoor volleyball. She then played beach volleyball at Grossmont College for two years. During her second season, her team won the state championships. After Grossmont, she played at The Master's University for two years where she was awarded the All-GSAC award her junior year. Her and her partner were awarded Duo of the year her senior year.

Fun facts- On my spare time I enjoy spending time with my husband, playing beach volleyball, and cooking.
