WAVE welcomed Haley during the 2022 season! Haley is an Education Specialist in SDUHSD for COAST Academy, the adult transition program serving students aged 18-22 with moderate to severe disabilities. She recently began her coaching career at SDA, where she is am the Girls Assistant Varsity coach! She began playing volleyball recreationally in middle school, and then continued to play throughout high school. She played club volleyball for 4 years in her hometown, Chico.

Her coaching philosophy centers on passion for the game of volleyball and for teaching, a focus on technical skills, and the development of a true team-player with a positive, growth mindset and a strong work ethic.

In her free time, she enjoys going to hot yoga classes, watching reality tv, and reading mysteries/thrillers.
