Alysha is a WAVE Alum, and joined the Coaching Staff in 2026!

Alysha played high school volleyball at Maranatha Christian Schools, where she became San Diego’s all-time leader in assists and aces. Her team won four CIF titles and a State Championship in 2017.

After high school, she went on to play setter/libero at Point Loma Nazarene University and California Lutheran University. After college, she returned to Maranatha, where she has been coaching for 3 years. Volleyball has been a huge part of her life, and she loves being able to give back to the game through coaching. Alysha is passionate about helping young athletes grow in their skills, confidence, and love for the game. Her mantra is never give up and continue despite any setbacks. You are a lot stronger than you think you are.
