Ashlyn joined the WAVE staff in 2023! She started her club career at age 13 playing for Rage Volleyball Club. She went on to play Division 1 volleyball at Central Connecticut State University. In 2019 she was the NEC Defensive Player of The Year, First Team All-NEC, and led the conference with 4.73 digs/set. She was team captain for her last 2 seasons and ended her career becoming the 2nd all-time dig leader at CCSU with 1490 digs.

After college she went back home to Ripon, CA and assisted the 14s and 15s for Rage VBC. She is now in San Diego pursing a career in sports photography and graphic design, and now coaching.

She believes the mental game is just as important as the physical game. Coaching is a new passion of hers, and is excited to see where it will take her.
