Christina joined the WAVE Coaching Staff in 2026!

Christina's coaching career began while she was playing at Whitman College, where she assisted with camps, clinics, and PONO Volleyball Academy from 2019 through 2023. After graduating, Christina moved home to Portland, Oregon, where she was an assistant coach for North Pacific Juniors Portland 15 National Team. Christina believes that volleyball and involvement in sport encourages players to develop skills that will serve them for life. She credits her own best qualities to her experience as an athlete and the coaches, mentors, and teammates she had along the way. She is passionate about developing competitiveness and mental performance in young volleyball players.

Christina was a four-year starter at Whitman College (NCAA DIII). In the 2021 season, she led Whitman in points and kills, and was selected as an All-Northwest Conference honorable mention. Christina was an All-NWC scholar-athlete through all four years of her collegiate career. In the spring of 2021, Christina studied abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark where she was a practice player for Holte IF, a women's professional team competing in the Danish Volleyligaen.

Christina earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, summa cum laude, from Whitman College and is a current Master of Public Policy student at the UC San Diego School of Global Policy and Strategy. Since the completion of her collegiate volleyball career in 2023, Christina has run two marathons and is training to qualify for the Boston Marathon in the future.
