Coach Jose joined the WAVE coaching staff in 2023! He has been a head volleyball coach for 15+ years and has helped jump-start young programs in North County, San Diego. The programs he has helped develop include the Escondido Palomar YMCA, Escondido Charter High School, Classical Academy High School, and most recently, San Marcos High School. He has been the Junior Varsity volleyball Coach for the past 5 years for San Marcos High School.

Jose is known for the camaraderie he builds within his team. He brings a ton of energy and creative approaches to learning the game! A couple of things to expect would be receiving a ton of technical feedback and having the best team bonding experiences this far in your volleyball career.
