Kylee has been passionate about volleyball since she started playing at the age of 15, diverging from her athletic path as a softball player. She started playing at San Marcos High School, and quickly grew a love for the game. She continued at Palomar College, winning multiple conference championships and a run at a state title, while earning the Dean’s Award for Academic Excellence. Kylee transferred to Arizona Christian University on scholarship where she studied both Mathematics and Secondary Education. She finished her playing career earning them a seat in the Golden State Athletic Conference.
Kylee started coaching in 2008 as a volunteer at her alma mater, and quickly found a new avenue to accumulate more appreciation and experience for the sport. She has coached in multiple states including California, Arizona, and Texas, collecting knowledge wherever she goes. Kylee has coached almost every age division possible, ranging from U-10 to High School Varsity, in both Men’s and Women’s programs. She specializes in 14U and youth player development with a 5th place finish at Boys Junior Nationals in 2017 to show for it. In her first season at Wave, she assisted the 12-1's to their 1st place finish at Colorado Crossroads, and a 5th place finish at Girls Junior National Championships.
In 2019, Kylee took over the Rancho Bernardo Boys Volleyball Program as the Varsity Head Coach. She has most recently joined Cathedral Catholic Women's Volleyball as the Varsity Assistant Coach to Juliana Evens.
