Looking for an Independent Study Physical Education program? WAVE Beach brings over 10 years of experience working with local school districts to help student-athletes earn PE credit—while training in the sand at WAVE.

WAVE Beach Volleyball is the fastest growing club in California and we consider ourselves the leader of Beach Volleyball training in San Diego. Our coaches are dedicated to teaching this great sport, sharing the knowledge they have learned from a lifetime of competing, coaching, and enjoying beach volleyball. We are looking for student athletes who want to work hard and be a part of something great. WAVE Beach ISPE is the program for beach athletes who want to take their game to the next level!

Once you enter into our program you can expect expert coaching in a positive and friendly environment. We offer an in-depth beach program for athletes focused on developing and advancing their beach volleyball skills, game knowledge, and fitness. Individuals will be given the opportunity to explore new levels of training through techniques and drills proven to increase personal and team success. Our highly experienced and knowledgeable coaching staff wants nothing more than for each athlete to reach their potential in this great sport. We will train hard, while enjoying our time together at the beach!

Cost

$2400 / academic year; $1200 / semester, payable in 10 monthly installments of $240 each (Aug-May), or in full at time of registration.

ISPE Practices

There are a variety of practice time options throughout the week for the student athlete to meet their required ISPE hours. For middle school athletes, practice will most likely be Wed & Fri 1:15-3:15pm. For limited additional options, contact matt@wavevb.com.

**Indoor, private lessons, and tournaments do NOT count towards your required ISPE hours.

Step 2: Apply to your School ISPE Program

Each district has a different window for registration and process that must be taken by the student athlete before registering with WAVE.  Please contact your school district for specifics. There are multiple districts in San Diego that offer ISPE. Acceptance into your districts ISPE program is NOT guaranteed.
