Binh grew up in Long Beach, California were he developed a passion for volleyball. Binh holds a B.S. degree in Biology from California State University, Fullerton and M.A. degree in Education from Point Loma Nazarene University. Binh started his coaching career in 1995 as the boys varsity coach at Santiago High School in Orange County. In 1997, he moved to San Diego to work in the Biotechnology industry, but found his true calling as a Teacher in 2004. Since 1998 Binh has been coaching girls club volleyball in San Diego where he specializes on developing younger players. Binh’s coaching philosophy is rooted in developing a life long enjoyment of volleyball and the importance of developing strong fundamental volleyball skills. Currently he is a science teacher at the Francis Parker School in San Diego. When not in the gym you can find Binh with his wife Susan and two kids.
