Hayden joined the WAVE coaching staff in 2023! Growing up in New York, he played at Sportime VBC and LIVBC. As a player he received bids to nationals in 15U and 16U. He coached for 2 years at Sportime VBC for boys and girls teams of all ages. Hayden was the student manager for the San Diego State women's volleyball team for the past three years and attributes this experience to giving him first hand experience as to what it takes for athletes to get to the next level.

Hayden believes in empowering athletes to not only believe in themselves but to also encourage and support their teammates through healthy competition. You can always expect a lot of energy on the sideline from Coach Hayden.

Fun Fact: Coach Hayden spent his summer traveling around the U.S. coaching volleyball at some of the top collegiate programs across the country- traveling a total of 5,628 miles!
