Kalani joined the WAVE coaching staff in 2024! Prior to WAVE, Kalani coached and played at Dakine VBC in Washington. Kalani moved to San Diego to attend Miramar College where he played Libero and Outside Hitter. In addition to coaching at WAVE, he also coaches at the Boys & Girls Club of San Dieguito.
